Referralrecruitment offers a global online social recruitment Site which facilitates a job referral reward service (the "Service(s)") for individuals or organizations seeking employees and offering a Referral Reward ("Recruiters"), individuals or organizations seeking to help others finding employees (and employment) and receiving a Referral Reward ("Referrers"), and individuals seeking employment ("Candidates").
When we refer to "You" and "Your(s)" we mean the user of the Site whether or not the person uses the Service offered through the Site. When we refer to "We", "Our(s)", "Us" we mean Referralrecruitment.
All documents and communications between us will be in English, unless agreed otherwise.
Information Collection And Use
In general terms: we collect information to connect Recruiters with Candidates, who are recommended by Referrers (employees, family, friends, acquaintances, and others).Referralrecruitment does collect the following personally identifiable information in order to register a user, post a job, refer a job, express interest in a job, display statuses, display alert indicators, display statistical information and provide all related administrative services such as invoicing, payments. Personally identifiable information collected for these various purposes and how it is used is listed below. The data submitted to a user account remains the property of the user; users do not have access to each other. Note: some information is required information necessary for the proper functioning of the Site (indicated by an asterisk "*" on the Site) and some information is optional to help us to improve our Site.
- Your name, address, phone number, fax number, URL (if any)
- User identification (e-mail address), password
- Invoicing and payment information
- Government-issued id numbers
- The names and e-mail addresses of your contacts
- Personal information in job postings
- Personal information of members in referral paths
It is important to note that Referralrecruitment is a place where referrals are made. Referralrecruitment facilitates the referral process in which you connect with other Referralrecruitment members (in referral paths), your personal information such as name, e-mail address, statuses, alert indicators, statistics (such as internal user feedbacks) might be shared with these members (in the applicable referral path), e.g.:
- The Recruiter's name and e-mail address will always be disclosed to each member of the applicable referral path.
- The Referrer(s)' name(s) and e-mail address(es) will always be disclosed to each member of the applicable referral path.
- The Candidate's personal information such as name and e-mail address will always be disclosed to the Recruiter. In order to keep the Candidate information as much as possible confidential, the candidate's personal information such as name and contact information will not be disclosed and withheld (kept confidential) at this point to any other member(s) (Referrer(s)) of the applicable referral path if the Candidate is not hired yet. Only once the Candidate is hired, the Candidate's personal information like name and contact information such as e-mail address will also be disclosed to the other member(s) (Referrer(s)) of the successful referral path.
Note: A referral path will only be displayed/visible once a user expresses interest resulting in a referral path of a Candidate. The users see only the referral paths of which they are member. Users do not have access to each other. The administrator (the "Administrator") of Referralrecruitment may see, for administrative purposes, the personal information of all users.

When you use our Site, we may request your name, address, phone number, fax number, website URL, or other real world contact information, how you did you hear about Referralrecruitment, and some other optional information like if you want to be informed with a newsletter, in order to create your (user) account (the "Profile"). The Profile is a body of personal information within the Site which is only viewable and accessible by the registered user (member) himself/herself of the Site when logged in. We use this information to complete and support the immediate activity requested, and to comply with any requirements of law. We do not publicly publish your Profile or share it with third parties for commercial reasons.Referralrecruitment may conduct background checks on persons wishing to use the Site and/or using already the Site but with a flagged status e.g. when a Candidate has been hired but has not been marked hired by the Recruiter on the Site.
Referralrecruitment may ask you to enter an e-mail address, password, and/or other identifier. We use this information to protect your Profile and to complete and support the immediate activity requested, administer and run the Site, customize and personalize content to your request, and to comply with any requirements of law. We will not sell or rent your e-mail address to third parties or publicly publish your e-mail address or password for any commercial reason.
Resulting from specific actions you take such as purchase of subscription, post jobs, refer jobs, refer candidates (and hired), we may collect invoicing and/or payment information, such as registered company name, payment method, bank account, PayPal account, credit card, automated Clearing House (ACH) data, associated with your personal identity, VAT number (if applicable). If you are subject to VAT and are VAT registered, you are in all cases at any time responsible to declare the VAT to comply with your local tax authorities.We use this information to complete and support the immediate activity requested, administer and run the Site, and to comply with any requirements of law.
If you earn a Referral Reward and/or an Affiliate Fee and are a tax payer, you are in all cases at any time responsible to declare the income to comply with your local tax authorities. Referralrecruitment may request that you to provide personally identifiable information such as copy passport, id-card, tax identification number, social security number, residence and/or complete the applicable local tax form. Failure to provide this information or complete this form, will prevent you from receiving your Referralrecruitment's Referral Reward and/or Affiliate Fee.
In order to keep your contacts' information as much as possible confidential, you do not need to manually enter or upload the names and e-mail addresses of other persons on the Site in order to send referral e-mail messages. It is made possible in the user's own personal (confidential) e-mail message application(s). So, currently no e-mail addresses of recipients of referral e-mail messages sent are kept on the Site. In case it may be applicable in the future then Referralrecruitment does not sell, rent, share, trade, or give away your contacts' e-mail addresses to third parties, or use them to send any communication other than those directly related to the Referralrecruitment's Service.
Referralrecruitment offers the ability to collect and review referrals and interest to job postings via the Site. Therefore, if you post a job listing, it has to be text only and you must not provide your e-mail or web address (i.e. no hyperlinks) or any other personal direct contact information in the job description of your job posting. If you nevertheless choose to show personal information in your job posting, it will be publicly available and may be reviewed or copied by third parties.We have the right to use, copy, distribute and disclose to third parties any content in the job posting.
In order to keep applicants' information as much as possible confidential, the applications and resumes may be send directly to the Recruiter of the applicable job posting. So, no resume information of the applicants is kept on the Site.
In case resumes are accidently received by Referralrecruitment, Referralrecruitment disclaims any ownership in Candidate's resumes sent. Referralrecruitment will not sell, rent or distribute Candidates' resumes without the consent of the Candidates.
When you visit our Site, we may automatically collect information about your computer configuration, such as your browser type, operating system, IP (Internet) Protocol) address or ISP Internet Service Provider) domain name, if such information is available. Once you are a registered user, this information is linked to your personality e.g. IP addresses may be used to identify your location.We use this information to complete and support the immediate activity requested, administer and run the Site, customize and personalize content to your request or configuration, and to comply with any requirements of law. See also the paragraph about "Cookies" and "Web Beacons".
As you browse our Site, we gather navigational and clickstream data that shows what pages are visited and how long various features are used. Once you are a registered user, this information is linked to you personally. We use this information to improve the Site for everyone, and to comply with any requirements of law.
You may decide to input data while using certain interactive features of Referralrecruitment, such as posting a job, creating a referral or expressing interest in a job. Once you are a registered user, this information is linked to you personally. We use this information to complete and support the immediate activity requested, administer and run the Site, and to comply with any requirements of law.
When you send e-mail or other communications to Referralrecruitment, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, responses to your requests and improve our Services.
Posting To Public Areas Of Referralrecruitment's Site
Please remember that if you post any of your personal information in public areas of the Site, such as the Public Job Board, such information is visible to anyone and may be collected and used by other users over whom Referralrecruitment has no control. Referralrecruitment is not responsible for the use made by third parties of information you post or otherwise make available in public areas of the Site.
Updating Your Personally Identifiable Information
Referralrecruitment provides you with the ability to modify personally identifiable information through the "My Profile" web page, which is viewable and modifiable by yourself, or you may request via the Contact Us page that Referralrecruitment remove it from its system.
Note: The Administrator may modify, for administrative purposes, information in the Profiles of the users and at request remove the complete Profile.
In the event you terminate your (user) account, we will remove/delete all related personal information from the Site after finalization of all the necessary steps to ensure all obligations have been met. However, Referralrecruitment may retain a copy in its files, even if removed/deleted, in order to resolve any pending actions, disputes or enforce the Terms and Conditions.
If you are a registered user of the Site and you no longer wish to receive newsletter information distributed by Referralrecruitment's mailing list, you should unselect the applicable tick mark selection box for "Newsletter" in "My Profile". But please note: newsletter information will keep you informed about important news about Referralrecruitment and it is recommended you keep it selected for the proper use of the Site.
Cookies do not pose a threat to your computer, and they do not contain viruses. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can change this feature in your browser. If you block all cookies, our Site will still work, but beware that certain features of the Site may not function properly without the aid of cookies and therefore Referralrecruitment cannot be held responsible.
Sometimes, we use "web beacons" or "clear GIFs", these are small pieces of code placed on a web page to monitor the behaviour and collect data about the visitors viewing a web page. E.g. web beacons can be used to recognize when a browser visits the Site as a result of an advertisement, to count the users who visit a web page or to deliver a cookie to the browser of a visitor viewing that page. Referralrecruitment may use beacons as well to track the status of sent e-mails.

Links To Third Party Websites And Third Party Content
The Referralrecruitment Site may contain links to other websites (including blogs) such as job listing widgets and we may display content such as advertisements from third parties on our Site. Referralrecruitment is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such sites, nor the way in which information about their users is treated. Referralrecruitment encourages the user of the Referralrecruitment Site to be aware when leaving the Referralrecruitment Site and to read the Privacy Policies of each site to which Referralrecruitment may link that may collect personally identifiable information.Referralrecruitment does not store any personal information such as user id, password used to access these third party websites.
We may disclose your information and/or your contacts' information if necessary to protect our legal rights e.g. non-payment of invoice(s) or if the information relates to actual or threatened harmful conduct. Disclosure may be required or permitted by law, regulation, or if we receive legal process, including a court order or subpoena. Referralrecruitment may share with others statuses, alert indicators, statistical information (such as internal feedback ratings about users), and aggregated, non-personal identifiable, information such as publishing a report on trends in usage of the Site.When you contact other users or third parties through the Site and provide personal information, Referralrecruitment cannot control how those users and third parties my use and disclose the personal information that you provide. Therefore, always use caution when providing your personal information to third parties.

Data Security And Protection
We follow reasonable technical and management practices to help protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of data stored on our system. Access to all of user's information is restricted. Only authorized employees such as the Administrator of Referralrecruitment, who needs the information to perform a specific job, are granted access to personal information. We store certain kinds of data in encrypted form. The servers on which Referralrecruitment stores personal information are hosted in high-security environments. We believe the measures implemented by our Site reduce the likelihood of security problems to a level appropriate to the type of data involved.
For security and privacy reasons, Referralrecruitment will automatically log you out and require you to log in again after a too long period of inactivity. Approximately 45 minutes for a Recruiter and 30 minutes for a Referrer/Candidate, provided the check box "Keep me logged in on this computer" is not checked marked on the Home page.
While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of the information you transmit to us, and if you choose to use our Site, you do so at your own risk.
Referralrecruitment will keep user data on its server or in its archives for as long as we reasonably need it. We may alter this practice according to changing requirements. For example, we may delete some data if needed to free up storage space. We may keep other data for longer periods if the law requires it. In addition, information posted in a public forum could stay in the public domain indefinitely.
Data management requests are administered in an orderly manner to the extent feasible and within our direct control. Note: we have greater control over recently collected data than for archived data. Once data is removed from the system and archived, it may not be feasible to accommodate specific requests.
Children And Minors
The Referralrecruitment Site may only be used by persons 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. Please read the Terms and Conditions.
(Newsletter) E-mail Alerts, RSS, And Online Surveys
If you are a customer or you have previously asked us for information on our services, we may send you information in order to keep you informed about important news of our services by (newsletter) e-mail alerts, unless you have asked us not to do so by unselecting newsletter information in the field "Newsletter" under "My Profile" or to opt-out of receiving these e-mail messages by following the unsubscribe procedure provided in the e-mail.Please note: operational communication via e-mail to users such as verifications, notifications, confirmations, referrals are necessary for the proper functioning of the Site and therefore it is not possible to opt-out and/or unsubscribe for these type of e-mails.
The nature of the services we provide on our Site are such that other users of the Site may be able to send you (referral) e-mail messages relating to our Site: inviting you to register and use the Services on our Site, recommending Candidates to you, recommending you for jobs,. We are not able to control the actions of other users and therefore we accept no responsibility for any actions of other users in making use of this (referral) e-mail message facility on our Site.
It may be possible to (un)subscribe also to Referralrecruitment news via RSS-feed.
Occasionally Referralrecruitment conducts an online user survey to collect information about our users' preferences.These surveys are optional and if a user chooses to respond, the responses will be kept anonymous. The demographic information that Referralrecruitment collects through online surveys is used to help us improve our services to meet the needs and preferences of users. This may include targeting advertising about our services.

Referralrecruitment aims to comply with the most relevant legislation regarding protection of personal data such as:
- EU Directive 95/46/EC (Data Protection Directive); US: Safe Harbour Privacy Principles (US compliance EU Directive 95/46/EC).
- Federal Communications Commission/Article 29 (Data Protection Working Party).
- Dutch law "Wet Bescherming Persoonsgegevens" as stated September 1, 2001, with the CBP, an independent organization in the Netherlands ensuring that personal data is handled with care and that privacy is guaranteed.

At any time the user can effectuate its right to view, modify, terminate the user account and /or request the removal of personal information. User needs to contact Referralrecruitment via the Contact Us page. Within a reasonable period of time, Referralrecruitment will fulfil user's request.
